Definition of a Friend

From now on,I am going to start writing down my thoughts. Right now my thoughts are about being a TRUE friend.

My question to you is: what is a friend? What does it mean to be a friend?

I think (and I'm guilty of it too)we label people too quickly as them being a friend. Some say that you have one or two friends and the rest are "associates". People you know of. Some say when your at your worst and things are going wrong,people often leave you. Those that leave,aren't your real friends,or never were your friends to begin with. Those who stick by you no matter what,with no judgement,are your Friends. Those who leave are your "associates".


According to: wwww.dictionary.com these are definitions of a friend:

"a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter: friends of the Boston Symphony.
a person who is on good terms with another; a person who is not hostile: Who goes there? Friend or foe?
a member of the same nation, party, etc."

After hearing many peoples definitions,opinions,reasons,comments, I think I'm going to re arrange my list of "friends" and "associates". (I think you will too after reading this blog). I know I want to be labeled as a person's friend.




So. I wanna hear from you!

What is your definition of a friend,who r they,and why do u label them as a friend and not an associate, or vice versa? Don't you wanna be a friend to someone,not an associate? How are you a friend to that person you labeled or be a friend to someone else?

Ok,now. I love me some Tahj Mowry since Smart Guy. But i didnt know til recent years that he did music too! I was thinking....hhmmmm what does he do? Then I saw this! I love his work ethic and his hardwork,BUT Im truthfully not too crazy about this music. If he does an R&B video and song im ok. Im NOT in ANY way,downin this actor/musician. Its just not my type of music and i am just going to have to get used to him in the music area in general. Im just used to him as an actor. But u have to make up your own mind. Now, ya'll know I speak my mind. So if u dont like how I talk,what i say,or my topics,dont read my blogs. You got to understand this is my opioion,my view. Im not doing this for you. Im doing this to be heard, to change minds, not for your approval.

Ok,lets start.
Let's ne real. Some parents dont need to be parents. They just need to stop havinkids! Why you pay more attention to your nieces/nephews than your kids? Why you spend more time baking cakes and sweets and shit and dont spend time cooking your children food(i dont mean heat up some nuggests and fries, or order pizza or McDonalds)more like mashed potatoes, vegetables, greens,baked chicken,HOME cooked meals? Why you so busy at your momma and sister house than hearing your kids calling out in need for your love and attention? Why you spend more money on cigrettes than clothes on your kids back and hair done for school the next day? Why your kids gotta feel the need to find love elsewhere and possibly get pregnant? Why? Why do your kids hardly be at school? Why are they dropping out and you never tend to their homework?

Why? Cause your selfish! It dont make sense! That most kids gotta be parents and fend for themselves and care for thier your siblings because you out regaining your youth! What happend to raising your kids properly?

I guess I was lucky. We(my younger sis and I),had a great childhood. We(at the time)had BOTH are parents in the household. We had rules and strong foundation. Our parents knew where we were. And they were involved in our life and I think that that is what parents are lacking. They arent involved in their childrens life. I think that if you are not willing to not be so selfish and willing to make the kids, if you can't or won't take care of them!

Now as far as child abuse.....I have no tolerance for that! Not at all! What the
point in having kids if your going to beat them for no reason or reasons that has nothing to do with them?

They need love and guidence,and attention, not hate,stress,and yelling.
